On 13th Jun 09, 34 elderly from the Toa Payoh – Bishan GRC were invited on an outing organized by Young SISEU Committee. They were treated to a ride on the Singapore Flyers, an afternoon tea at Madam’s Lin’s Restaurant and finally ending with a visit to the Marina Barrage. Each also received a wonderful goodie bag from Mrs Josephine, Executive Secretary of SISEU and MP for Toa Payoh – Bishan GRC. Although tiring, the elderly were all smiles on their trip back, even when asleep on the coach………. |
