SISEU has successfully launched our Real Estate Professionals’ Chapter in a simple ceremony held at NTUC Building on 4 March 2013. The event was attended by over 160 real estate professionals and industry partners and was officiated by our guest-of-honour, Minister Lim Swee Say, Secretary-General, NTUC. SISEU was represented by President, Brother Tan Peng Heng, General Secretary, Brother Lim Kuang Beng, Executive Secretary, Sister Sylvia Choo and Exco member, Brother Lee Jun Yuan. With the formation of the chapter, we hope to bring in more members to the SISEU family and will be intensifying our collaborations with industry partners to reach out to the 32,000 real estate professionals in Singapore. In conjunction with the launch, SISEU also announced a training partnership with SAEA (one of the key industry bodies for real estate professionals) and e2i (Employment and Employability Institute) to provide 50% PD (Professional Development) funding for some of the training courses. On top of that, the real estate professionals who are union members will get to enjoy UTAP subsidy of 50% on the unfunded fees.
